HOW IT WORKS
STEP 01—COMPLETE YOUR LAB WORK
Call IV MD to speak with a nurse who will order your initial lab work and answer any questions about the process. If you already have completed lab results within 3 months, those will be accepted and can be emailed to our clinic upon request. Once lab results are verified, a nurse will contact you to schedule your consultation.
REQUIRED LAB WORK:
- Complete Blood Count with Differential (CBC w/Diff)
- Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP)
- Hemoglobin A1c (HgA1c)
- Lipid Panel (LP)
- Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
- Free Triiothyronine (FT3)
- Free Thyroxine (FT4)
- Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, Beta (BHCG)-females 50 and under.
STEP 02—MEDICAL CONSULTATION
After your lab work is reviewed, a nurse will call you to schedule a consultation appointment with our medical doctor. The consultation will be conducted over the phone. During this visit, our doctor will review your recent lab results with you, your medical history, and your current medications, and she will go over the different weight‑loss medication options available. She will also discuss supplements and ways to optimize your weight‑loss journey. A $99 consultation fee applies and will be collected at the time of scheduling to reserve your appointment.
STEP 03—START YOUR TREATMENT
After your consultation, a nurse will call you to review pricing and guide you through completing the required weight‑loss consent forms. A credit card is collected on the consent form and kept securely on file for medication orders.
Your first order includes a minimum of three months of medication. You will pick up your first month of medication in person at the clinic so our nurse can teach you how to inject, how to draw up your medication, how to store it, and review your dosing schedule. After completing your first month, you may return to the clinic to pick up months two and three.
STEP 04— FOLLOW‑UP & REFILLS
After completing your initial three months of treatment, you will need to schedule a three‑month follow‑up appointment ($49). During this visit, our doctor will review your progress, discuss how the medication is working for you, and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. After your follow‑up, you may choose to order three months of medication at a time or one month at a time. All refills can be requested through the EZ Refill Request Form located at the top of this page. When a refill request is submitted, the card you placed on file in your consent form will be charged for your medication.
